Through regular training and improvement, the app emphasizes positive body image, self-acceptance, distress reduction, and overcoming preoccupations with appearance or perceived flaws.

The research and theory behind Body+: According to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) models, negative thoughts about oneself, others, and the world can contribute to psychological difficulties such as obsessive preoccupation, low mood, and maladaptive behaviors.

Body+ was developed as an accessible CBT training platform to help individuals dealing with distress and preoccupation related to their body. The app's design aims to:

 <li>Train individuals to identify and challenge negative self-talk effectively</li>
 <li>Promote access to neutral and positive self-talk</li>
